Young Engineers and Scientists
YES is a six week research experience that places high school students in science and engineering labs on ISU campus under the guidance of ISU faculty, grad students, and staff.  Students will also prepare a research poster to be presented at the final poster symposium.  Participants must be at least 16 years of age when they begin this internship.

Go! Further Workshop (with OPPTAG)
The Iowa DOT and InTrans have partnered to provide high school students a five-day educational workshop about the professional world of engineering with a focus on transportation, while providing leadership training and team activities.  This program is run as an Explorations Course with the Office of Precollegiate Programs for Talented and Gifted (OPPTAG) at Iowa State.
